Remembering Russell Jacobson

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Russell Jacobson. At mTuitive, we have been very fortunate to work with some of the best laboratory professionals in creating products and curating content. Russ, as he was known to all of us, was a former pathology assistant who assisted us in working on our xPert product for pathology. He was always quick with a joke and even faster with a smile. He worked alongside many of us, bringing with him his years of knowledge accrued from working in labs at University of Connecticut and Cape Cod Hospital. The world is a little bit less pleasant today with his absence, a little bit colder without his warm and friendly demeanor. His help to us on our products was invaluable, but his friendship was truly the most priceless aspect we shall miss the most.

#9 — Do not stand at my grave and weep
by Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep:
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starshine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry:
I am not there; I did not die.
