St. Joseph’s Health System Selects xPert for Pathology

mTuitive Software Captures Vital Cancer Data for Improved Patient Care

Boston, MA - St. Joseph's Health System - serving northern and southern California, as well as the west Texas/east New Mexico areas- has selected mTuitive's xPert for Pathology synoptic reporting solution to meet the College of American Pathologists' (CAP) data standard for pathology reporting. The reporting solution has been implemented at Covenant Health in Texas and will shortly be rolled out to St. Joseph's nine other sites.

"We have been pleased with the mTuitive program for our synoptic reporting," said Jason Loos, MD, Covenant's Chief of Pathology. "It is simple to use and practical. Integration with MEDITECH went smoothly, and the support staff were responsive and great to work with. We especially appreciate that the program updates and stays current with changes to the CAP Cancer Checklist and Protocols."

"St. Joseph's Health System has a storied and impressive tradition of providing excellent care for its patients," said John Murphy, CEO and co-founder of mTuitive, Inc. "We are honored to work with them and look forward to future collaborations as we help them deliver the best care possible."

Standardized pathology reporting increases the availability and consistency of cancer pathology information that is essential for treatment decisions, evaluation, and research. mTuitive complies with the 2012-2013 CAP data standard developed in conjunction with the CAP Cancer Committee, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Joint Committee on Cancer.
