mTuitive Users Awarded $185,000 for Synoptic Pathology Reporting

North York, Rouge Valley, Sunnybrook, and Windsor IHL Recipients of Awards from ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge

Boston,MA - It was announced today that four users of xPert software have been awarded $185,000 from ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge for their continued use of clinical synoptic reporting. As the Outcomes Challenge draws to a close, North York General Hospital, Rouge Valley Health System, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and Integrated Hospital Laboratories Service of Windsor-Essex (Windsor IHL) each received at least $25,000 for generating pathology reports created with mTuitive's xPert for Pathology. In fact the official tally breaks down as:

  • North York received $45,000
  • Rouge Valley received $35,000
  • Sunnybrook received $80,000
  • Windsor IHL received $25,000
This adds up to a grand total of $185,000 for these four mTuitive facilities.

Started in Winter of 2011, the ImagineNation Outcomes Challenge aims to "accelerate the use and spread of innovative solutions in health care information and communication technologies...with the potential to improve health care quality and the patient experience in Canada." Health providers are encouraged to sign up for the outcomes challenge by filling out a short application and submitting a brief video detailing the method used to conform to synoptic reporting standards.
